Wood Products
Celebes started in 1981 when it manufactured wood products from timber
sourced from its own forest concession in Butuan City, located in the
southern part of the Philippines. Yet, from this modest start, emerged one
of the country’s largest export-oriented enterprises.
It first started exporting kiln-dried lumber and later went into processing of
wooden finished products like the following:
- Wooden Disposable Chopsticks
- Biopsy Scrapers
- Tongue Depressors
- Ice Cream Spoons
- Coffee Stirrers
- Wooden Cotton Buds
- Wooden Toothpicks
- Ice-Cream Sticks
- Wooden Knife Handles
- Paint Brush Handles
- Paint Paddles
Al its production is exported to the United States, Germany, Japan, South
Korea, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and 49 other countries.
